Suryaa Telangana Desk: Yacharam police seized a large quantity of firecrackers stored without authorization in Nakkagutta Thanda on Monday. The operation took place after police, while patrolling the main road in Nakkagutta Thanda, received information regarding firecrackers stored in a house without safety standards.
Upon raiding the premises, police discovered 81 varieties of firecrackers, including Lakshmi time bombs, over 200 bundles of crackers, 1000, 2000, and 5000-series explosive chains, hydro bombs, King Kong bombs, deluxe bombs, sparklers, ground spinners, Vishnu chakras, and fancy sky shots ranging from 12 to 120 shots.
Police seized the materials and arrested 29-year-old Vislavath Purushotham, a resident of Nakkagutta, in connection with the incident. Yacharam CI Nandishwar Reddy stated that a case has been registered against the individual for storing firecrackers in a manner that poses a risk to public life and property.
