Suryaa Entertainment Desk: Director Akash Kaushik, who debuted with the recently released spy comedy film Udta Teer, has shared memories of working with the late actor Mukul Dev. In the film, Mukul Dev played the role of a comedy villain named Azar Maqsood.

Akash Kaushik described Mukul Dev as a kind person who paid special attention to his character. He noted that the actor had a strong command of different languages and accents, often elevating written scenes through his performance. The director recalled that during the shoot, Mukul Dev would send WhatsApp voice notes at night and call around 12:30 AM to discuss and laugh about comedy scenes filmed on set.

Expressing shock at the actor's sudden passing, Akash Kaushik stated that it is painful that Mukul Dev is not present to see the film's success. The director revealed that after the actor's death, some minor changes were made to the script, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology was used to recreate Mukul Dev’s voice for new dialogues. Akash Kaushik expressed his belief that the actor would be happy seeing the audience's positive response to his performance.
