Suryaa Telangana Desk: Residents of Masidbanda have submitted a complaint to officials at the CMC, the Serilingampally Zonal Office, and the Town Planning Office regarding ongoing construction and road encroachments in Survey Number 169.

The residents alleged that illegal construction is taking place along the 100-foot road stretch from the HCU bus depot to the Masidbanda Botanical Garden. According to the complaint, a multi-story building with three cellars is being constructed, and the site has been fenced with iron sheets and sheds that occupy public road space.

The complainants requested that authorities take action to protect the 100-foot road and the 4.5-foot wide drain constructed with government funds. They further urged officials to ensure the enforcement of setback regulations for the 120-foot road. The residents demanded that officials verify the builder's permits and construction plans on-site and remove the iron fences, sheds, and other encroachments. They also called for an investigation into the construction and requested that the road be made fully accessible to the public.

In response, officials visited the site to inspect the alleged encroachments on the road and drains. The officials warned the builder to remove all structures that were built in violation of regulations.
