Suryaa Telangana Desk: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy questioned the state government regarding the lack of development funds allocated to his constituency. Speaking at a retirement event for Sunkari Biksham Goud, a former state president of the PRTU TS and headmaster of MPPS Munugode, the MLA asked what the people of Munugode had done to be deprived of such funding.

During the event held at a PRR garden in the mandal headquarters, Raj Gopal Reddy praised Sunkari Biksham Goud for his commitment and efforts in increasing student enrollment in government schools. The MLA remarked that leaders must maintain integrity to provide honest governance and expressed concern over corruption in society.

Regarding political matters, the MLA stated that he had previously suggested Sunkari Biksham Goud be given an MLC ticket, noting that the Congress party supports weaker sections. He further remarked that while the Chief Minister is laying foundation stones for development works worth 9,000 crores in Kodangal, he is not opposed to that development. However, he emphasized that the Munugode constituency, which has historically suffered from high fluoride levels, also requires development.

Raj Gopal Reddy stated that he has approached the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister multiple times regarding this issue. He urged the government to recognize Munugode and other backward constituencies to ensure they receive equitable treatment.

The event was attended by MLC Nellikanti Satyam, teacher MLC Pingali Sripal Reddy, BC Welfare Association National President Jajula Srinivas Goud, former DCCB Chairman Kumbham Srinivas Reddy, Mandal Education Officer Talamalla Mallesham, PRTU President Yusuf Pasha, and other teachers and union leaders.
