Suryaa Telangana Desk: Boinapally police have arrested Rapelli Praveen Kumar, an LIC agent from Sircilla, for allegedly cheating multiple people by collecting money under the guise of high-return investments.
Investigations revealed that the accused collected large sums of money from residents of Kodurupaka and Neelojipalli villages. When victims requested the return of their funds, the accused reportedly resorted to threats.
Two cases were registered against the accused at the Boinapally police station. Boinapally Sub-Inspector N. Ramakanth arrested the individual and presented him before the court. Authorities also identified that two additional cases have been registered against the accused at the Vemulawada Town police station.
Vemulawada Rural Circle Inspector M. Srinivas has requested that any other individuals who may have been cheated by the accused should file a complaint at the relevant police station.
