Suryaa Telangana Desk: Forest department officials have initiated action following the unauthorized felling of a tree near a canal bank in Luxettipet. Acting on a complaint, officials identified that a tree was cut down near land belonging to Birudula Chinnaraju, son of Raja Narsaiah.
Upon inspecting the site and measuring the felled tree, officials valued the timber at Rs 5,412. Under forest regulations, a fine of Rs 16,000 has been imposed, and a case has been registered against the individual involved. The inspection was conducted by Luxettipet Forest Section Officer Altaf Hussain and Forest Beat Officers Chandrasekhar and Sumalatha.
