Suryaa International Desk: The United States government has announced a reward of up to $20 million for credible information regarding Iran’s nuclear program. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the reward is offered for information concerning Iranian nuclear facilities, equipment, scientists, and the movement of related personnel. The US also pledged to provide protection and relocation assistance to informants and their families if necessary.

The announcement was made under the "Rewards for Justice" program, which operates under the US Department of State and was established in 1984 to gather information on threats to US interests and citizens. CENTCOM posted the announcement on the social media platform X, aiming to identify Iran’s nuclear network, research teams, and supply chains for equipment.

The US Department of State cited Iran’s violation of regulations and inspections set by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as the primary reason for this action. The department alleged that Iran’s non-compliance has resulted in a loss of IAEA oversight regarding centrifuges, the manufacturing of critical nuclear components, and stockpiles. Washington is seeking information from internal sources to clarify the extent of Iran’s uranium enrichment and the locations of its suspected secret facilities.

This announcement follows recent comments by US President Donald Trump regarding the impact of economic pressure on Iran. The reward offer comes amid ongoing surveillance of suspected nuclear sites, such as the Pick Axe Mountain in central Iran.
