Suryaa Telangana Desk: Police in Marpally mandal have seized 20 grams of ganja near the outskirts of Bhuchanpally village and registered a case against two individuals.
Acting on information regarding the sale and consumption of ganja, Sub-Inspector Abdul Rauf and his team reached the fields near the village outskirts at 1:00 PM on Thursday. Upon inspecting a suspicious individual, police recovered 20 grams of ganja from a plastic cover.
The individual was identified as Jaipal, a resident of the village. During the investigation, it was revealed that Jaipal had purchased the substance from Malreddy, another resident of the same village. Consequently, police have registered a case against both Jaipal and Malreddy. The investigation is ongoing, with police stating that surveillance on the illegal transport and sale of narcotics in villages will continue.
