Minister Jitendra Singh stated that the government's objective is to use technology to eliminate difficulties faced by elderly pensioners. Officials noted that banks, the postal department, pensioner associations, and digital service centers are collaborating to raise awareness for this drive. Special teams have been deployed to provide services at the homes of senior citizens who are ill or unable to walk.
According to the Minister, the digital life certificate system has benefited millions of pensioners over the past few years, and this year's expanded campaign aims to ensure the facility reaches everyone. Officials have advised eligible pensioners to utilize this opportunity to submit their life certificates on time.
