Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The change of music directors for the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan film, King, has become a topic of discussion within the film industry. While it was previously reported that Anirudh Ravichander exited the project due to personal reasons and prior commitments, recent information suggests this change occurred earlier this year, with the duo Sachin-Jigar taking over.

Film analysts point to a recent social media post by international pop singer Ed Sheeran as the source of this clarification. Sharing details about recording the song "Tu Mil Jaaye" for King, Sheeran stated that he met Shah Rukh Khan at his residence during a visit to India. During that meeting, Shah Rukh Khan introduced him to music directors Sachin-Jigar, and Sheeran recorded his song that same night. Given that the music video was filmed either late last year or early this year, it indicates that Sachin-Jigar joined the project at that time.

It is understood that Anirudh Ravichander was unable to dedicate sufficient time to the project, leading to a mutual decision to part ways. Reports suggest that Anirudh provided only the theme music for the film. Although the film unit has not issued an official statement, the timeline revealed by Ed Sheeran's post has drawn significant attention.

Director Siddharth Anand is preparing the action thriller for a major release. While fans and trade circles discuss the impact of this musical change, the songs already provided by Sachin-Jigar have received a positive response.
