Suryaa Telangana Desk: The construction of new toilets at the Anganwadi center in Vemulapally village has been initiated under the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Sarpanch Puttala Sandeep, along with Mandal Employment Guarantee Engineer Balu Naik, Anganwadi Supervisor Parimi Rajini, and Panchayat Secretary Srikanth, formally launched the work.
In addition to the toilet construction, markings were laid out for the development of standard and specialized soak pits. Sarpanch Puttala Sandeep noted that hygienic toilet facilities are necessary for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers at the center, and stated that these soak pits are being constructed to improve village sanitation. Field Assistant Guduguntla Tulasi, along with panchayat, Anganwadi, and employment guarantee staff, participated in the event.
