Suryaa Sports Desk: The Indian men's football team secured a 3-2 victory against Pakistan in their opening Group B match of the SAFF Championship held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
India established an early lead in the first half. Forward player Ahmed Bhat scored two goals in the 13th and 19th minutes. In the 32nd minute, Manglenthang added a third goal to bring the score to 3-0.
Pakistan responded in the second half by scoring two goals. However, the Indian defense and goalkeeper maintained their lead until the end of the match to secure the win.
