Suryaa National Desk: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has responded to criticism from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the Gokul Dairy election dispute in Kolhapur district.

Rahul Gandhi had alleged that the government was stealing a majority by changing rules following election results. In response, Fadnavis questioned why Gandhi was tweeting from Delhi about a local cooperative matter involving only 4,500 voters.

Fadnavis explained that governing body meetings were cancelled twice due to a lack of quorum within the cooperative society. He stated that the government issued an ordinance only after receiving legal advice from the Advocate General. The Chief Minister asserted that the government's decision regarding Gokul Dairy was entirely legal and in accordance with regulations.
