Suryaa News Desk: Officials have initiated preparatory measures for the local body election vote counting process. In Anaparthi, the Returning Officer (RO) and the Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) held a meeting with appointed counting supervisors at the Mandal Parishad office.
During the meeting, officials briefed the staff on the necessary arrangements, duties, and responsibilities required for the counting process. The officials instructed the supervisors to follow the guidelines set by the Election Commission and to ensure transparency at every stage, from the start of counting to the declaration of results.
Supervisors were directed to familiarize themselves with the procedures for classifying ballot papers, identifying valid and invalid votes, counting, and recording results. The officials emphasized that staff should not make independent decisions if doubts or issues arise, but should instead report them immediately to higher authorities.
RO Prem Kumar and MPDO Ramakrishna Reddy urged all personnel to work with coordination to ensure the process is completed smoothly. The staff was advised to maintain punctuality and perform their assigned duties effectively.
