Suryaa Telangana Desk: The BJP Tribal Morcha held a three-hour protest in front of the Koheda Tahsildar office on Friday to demand justice for the family of Katta Praveen, a local BJP ward member. The protest was led by state official spokesperson Guguloth Tirupathi Naik, Siddipet district president Nunavath Mohan Naik, and Koheda mandal president Banoth Suresh Naik.

The protesters stated that revenue officials, supported by police, demolished the house belonging to Katta Praveen’s family in Koheda. They claimed the demolition caused approximately Rs 8 lakh in property damage and left the family, who had resided there for 12 to 13 years, homeless without alternative arrangements.

During the protest, the family’s mother collapsed due to distress and was taken to a government hospital for treatment. The BJP leaders criticized the government, noting that the family has been sheltering in the village panchayat premises since the demolition.

The Tribal Morcha demanded that the government immediately allocate two guntas of land to the family, sanction an Indiramma house, and provide compensation for the Rs 8 lakh loss. They further urged officials to provide temporary shelter on humanitarian grounds.

The leaders announced plans to file complaints with the SC/ST Commission and the Human Rights Commission regarding the actions of the revenue officials. They stated that the movement for the family's justice will continue across the state. Numerous BJP leaders and activists participated in the demonstration.
