Suryaa News Desk: Following a report published in Surya Daily titled "Danger Looming Over Anganwadi Children" on Tuesday, November 3, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Araku Valley Project Supervisor K. Lakshmi responded by inspecting the situation on the ground. The supervisor visited the Anganwadi center in Dingiriputtu village, located in Madagada panchayat, to review the facility's condition.

Upon observing that the Anganwadi center was operating inside a dilapidated school building due to the lack of its own facility, the supervisor immediately shifted the center to another house on a war footing. The tribal children attending the center were safely relocated to the new premises.

Parents of the children expressed their gratitude to Supervisor K. Lakshmi for moving the tribal children out of the dilapidated structure. CPM Alluri Sitarama Raju District Committee member V.V. Jaya had earlier alleged that the ICDS was playing with the lives of tribal children, while construction work on a new Anganwadi building had previously come to a halt midway. Anganwadi worker P. Pramila Devi was also present during the relocation process.
