Suryaa News Desk: A tense situation emerged at the agricultural market yard in Markapuram on Sunday, which serves as the counting center for ZPTC and MPTC votes. A dispute arose when police prevented ZPTC and MPTC candidates and their agents from entering the counting hall, despite the authorities having made arrangements for the counting process.

Candidates and their supporters expressed anger as police blocked them at the gates, even though they possessed passes. This led to heated arguments between the candidates, agents, and police at the main entrance of the counting center. Several candidates voiced concerns regarding the transparency of the vote counting process, citing the unilateral attitude of the officials.

To prevent the situation from escalating, police deployed heavy forces in the vicinity of the counting center. Tensions remained high in the area following pushing and shoving between the protesting candidates and the police.
