Suryaa Telangana Desk: A married woman died by suicide in Doddippally village on Friday night due to severe stomach pain. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Aruna, wife of army jawan Ramalingam.
According to Sub-Inspector Narender, Aruna had been suffering from health issues for some time. She married Ramalingam in 2021, and the couple had two children. On Friday evening, while her husband was away in Jadcherla and her mother-in-law was attending an event in Kishtaram, Aruna was at home with her children.
The incident came to light after Aruna’s mother, Savitri, became concerned when her grandchildren answered a phone call while crying. Savitri sent a local resident, Harish, to the house, where he discovered Aruna had died by hanging.
Following a complaint filed by the deceased's mother, police registered a case. The body was shifted to Mahabubnagar Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination. SI Narender stated that an investigation into the incident is underway.
