Suryaa Entertainment Desk: Amitabh Bachchan recently shared memories regarding a nickname his wife, Jaya Bachchan, used for him during an appearance on the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati. While speaking with guest Rabinder Kapoor, Bachchan revealed that for many years, Jaya Bachchan playfully called him "Lambuji."
Bachchan stated that his father, the poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, did not approve of the nickname. He recalled that his father intervened and asked Jaya Bachchan to stop using it, suggesting she call him by his actual name or another title instead. Following his father's request, Jaya Bachchan ceased using the nickname and began addressing him by his given name.
During the discussion, it was noted that Amitabh Bachchan stands at six feet two inches, while Jaya Bachchan is approximately five feet three or four inches tall. The couple has been married for over five decades.
