Suryaa News Desk: The Kambadur ZPTC seat has become a focal point of political discussion among alliance parties ahead of the local body elections. While the seat was allocated to the Janasena party as part of the alliance, with candidate Harika contesting on the glass symbol, reports suggest a lack of expected support from local TDP leaders. This situation has created uncertainty among the ranks of the TDP, Janasena, and BJP.

In addition to Janasena candidate Harika, other candidates have filed nominations, including Chandrika, wife of former TDP ZPTC Rammohan Chowdary; Mounika, daughter-in-law of senior TDP leader Kothimira Venkatesulu; and Vemula Sharada from Guddilla village.

Initially, after Harika met with MLA Amilineni Surendrababu, it was reported that senior TDP leaders, including Rammohan Chowdary and Lakshminarayana Chowdary, campaigned for the glass symbol. However, recent changes in political dynamics have raised doubts regarding the support of TDP cadres for the Janasena candidate.

Local discussions have intensified over allegations that some key TDP leaders are supporting independent candidate Vemula Sharada. Observations of Sharada campaigning while wearing TDP scarves and using victory slogans have fueled these claims. No official clarification has been issued by the concerned TDP leaders regarding these reports.

Meanwhile, former ZPTC Rammohan Chowdary, former MPP Lakshminarayana Chowdary, and other leaders have reportedly expressed their views to Kalyanadurgam TDP leadership, advocating for adherence to the alliance agreement by supporting the Janasena candidate. They aim to demonstrate alliance unity by backing the partner candidate.

The Kambadur ZPTC election has highlighted internal differences within the alliance, leaving questions regarding the final stance of local TDP leaders and the response from the alliance leadership. The impact of these developments on the election results remains to be seen.
