Suryaa Telangana Desk: A cycling rally titled 'Nasha Mukt Bharat' was organized by the Akshara Sphoorthi Foundation in the Sanath Nagar constituency to raise awareness among youth regarding drug abuse. The rally commenced at the Swami Vivekananda statue in the Padmarao Nagar division and concluded at the Ratnadeep Supermarket in the Sindhi Colony of the Begumpet division.
Rajya Sabha member Dr. K. Laxman attended the event as the chief guest and administered an anti-drug pledge to the participants.
The event was attended by former minister and former NDMA vice-chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy, Mahankali-Secunderabad district president Gunda Govind Bharat Goud, parliament convener Rajashekar Reddy, state BJP youth leader Marri Pururava Reddy, district general secretary Nemali Anand, district Yuva Morcha president Shiva Kumar Yadav, district Dalit Morcha president Naveen Kumar, district OBC Morcha president Y. Suresh Kumar, and district Mahila Morcha president Kethineni Sarala. Various constituency division presidents and local BJP leaders also participated in the program.
