Suryaa Telangana Desk: The 16th edition of the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show concluded yesterday at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. The three-day event brought together developers, financial institutions, allied industry partners, and homebuyers to showcase various real estate offerings.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest, alongside other dignitaries.

NAREDCO Telangana President Sridhar Reddy Koppula stated that real estate is a significant wealth-generating sector in the country. He noted that developers are currently facing challenges due to rising construction material costs and the 18% GST levied on commercial and rental properties. He urged the government to provide relief from these burdens to help achieve goals set for 2047.

While acknowledging government support through measures like RERA deadline extensions, he stated that more is needed. He requested that the government review its orders to ensure developers have sufficient time to complete projects and prevent them from stalling.

The event provided insights into changing consumer preferences, market sentiment, and emerging opportunities. Attendees at the closing ceremony included NAREDCO NextGen President Ravikanth Reddy, NAREDCO Telangana Secretary General R. Venkateswara Rao, GC member Arun Kumar Aleti, NAREDCO Telangana President K. Sridhar Reddy, and Executive Vice Presidents Kali Prasad Damera and K. Gopala Krishna.
