Suryaa Telangana Desk: Government Whip and Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham attended Diwali celebrations held at Kothapeta village in Kethepally mandal on Sunday, as part of the state government's ‘Maa Indiramma Intlo Deepavali’ program.
During the event, MLA Vemula Veeresham honored the beneficiaries of the Indiramma housing scheme with shawls and distributed sweets. He joined the families in their new homes to celebrate the festival, participating in the lighting of firecrackers.
The MLA extended Diwali greetings to the villagers. He stated that the Indiramma housing scheme is fulfilling the dream of homeownership for the poor and expressed satisfaction in seeing families celebrating festivals in their new homes. Local public representatives, Congress party leaders, workers, housing beneficiaries, and villagers attended the event.
