Suryaa Telangana Desk: Authorities have initiated action against unauthorized constructions within the GHMC Badangpet Circle-16 limits. Following directives from the Shamshabad Zonal Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner, Town Planning officials, including the ACP and staff, conducted an operation on Friday to seal multi-story building cellars and three sheds that lacked proper permits.
Officials focused on a building located on the main road in Badangpet, noting that the construction deviated from the approved plans. Despite prior notices issued for violating regulations regarding the cellar and multi-story structure, construction work had continued. Consequently, officials sealed the property. Additionally, authorities sealed unauthorized sheds located opposite the SBI bank in Badangpet, as well as structures in the Markoti and Nadargul areas.
Local residents have expressed concerns regarding the effectiveness of these measures, alleging that work continues inside some of the sealed buildings and sheds. Residents are calling for continuous monitoring at the site rather than just the placement of seal notices. There are further demands for stricter legal action against those who ignore official notices and continue construction, regardless of any reported political influence. Locals emphasized that sealing should effectively halt all work to ensure compliance with building regulations.
