Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The pan-India mythological film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is set for a worldwide release on November 5. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana.
As the release date approaches, the film has reached the Rs 150 crore mark in global pre-sales. Following the resolution of screening disputes and distributor negotiations, the film has seen significant demand, with over 20 lakh tickets sold in India. The movie is scheduled to release on more than 6,000 screens across the country. These advance booking figures have surpassed the opening day records of films including Adipurush, Jawan, and Animal. Analysts anticipate strong opening collections in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada markets.
In international markets, the film has recorded over six million dollars in pre-sales. There is notable interest in premium formats such as IMAX, 3D, and 4D. Produced by Prime Focus Studios, DNEG, and Mastermind Creations, the film is being made in two parts on a large budget. The production team has expressed satisfaction with the pre-release booking performance.
