Suryaa Sports Desk: The West Indies cricket team is in a strong position in their ongoing Test match, supported by an unbeaten century from batter Kavem Hodge. Despite challenging pitch conditions, Hodge displayed composure to help the team secure a lead exceeding 300 runs.
West Indies batters successfully countered the opposition's bowling strategies during the first innings. Hodge maintained a balance between defensive and attacking play, while receiving support from the tailenders to strengthen the team's total.
The significant lead has placed pressure on the opposing side. As play concluded on the third day, the West Indies team is preparing their bowling strategy for the upcoming sessions, aiming to maintain control of the match. Analysts have noted that the performance of young players like Hodge is a positive sign for the team's future in Test cricket.
