Hafiz Pet, Major News: MLA Arekapudi Gandhi inspected the works of rain water storage tank being constructed with a capacity of 2.25 lakh liters at a cost of Rs.98 lakhs on Sunday. He said that people, motorists and pedestrians are facing severe problems due to the standstill.
It is stated that the construction of water storage tank has been undertaken with the intention of providing a permanent solution to this problem. He said that if the construction is completed and made available, the problem of water storage will be reduced and the transportation between Papireddy Colony and Huda Colony will be easier. He said that there is a possibility of saving travel time and fuel due to reduced difficulties for passengers and motorists.
The officials were directed to speed up the construction work and complete it quickly. It has been clarified that the quality standards must be followed in the work and no compromise should be made in the matter of quality. He suggested that the works should be completed for the permanent benefit of the people.
