Prioritize people's welfare.. Strong warning on minority rights! Surya International Bureau, New York/New Delhi: India has slammed Pakistan's behavior at the United Nations (UN) platform. Pakistan's rulers have expressed a strong desire to stop fostering terrorism on the borders and implementing military orders and give priority to the welfare of their own people who are suffering from hunger and poverty. The Indian diplomatic delegation has refuted the false allegations raised by Pakistan on the rights of minorities and internal security in the UN Human Rights Council and General Assembly meetings. The situation of minorities is miserable – India's denial: India has expressed concern that the survival of minorities like Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Ahmadis in Pakistan has become questionable.
It has expressed deep concern mentioning incidents like forced conversions, kidnappings, illegal marriages and destruction of places of worship against minority girls. At a time when the country's acute energy crisis and inflation are bringing people to the roads, Pakistan is misusing international forums to sidestep the issues, it said. Pakistan's lies on Kashmir are invalid: India has rejected the poisonous propaganda of Pakistan's representatives by repeatedly mentioning the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. It has made it clear that the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will always be an integral part of India and no interference in this matter will be tolerated. It demanded an immediate end to the ongoing repression and human rights violations in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and immediate vacation of the illegally occupied Indian territories by Pakistan. India has concluded that Pakistan, which is curtailing civil rights in its own country, has no moral right to speak against other countries.
