Suryaa Entertainment Desk: Malayalam actor Mammootty has launched a free cancer treatment scheme titled 'Sara Sai - Sukrutham 2.0' in collaboration with a hospital in Parumala. The initiative was introduced through his Care and Share Foundation during a secular event held at the Parumala Church.
Speaking at the event, Mammootty emphasized that helping others should be a heartfelt responsibility rather than a result of instructions. Addressing the nature of service, he remarked that God does not arrive in an auto-rickshaw to provide direct assistance to individuals. Instead, he stated that God creates compassionate people to help one another, and assisting fellow humans is a form of true devotion.
The newly launched scheme provides free treatment to at least 25 individuals. Mammootty continues to receive recognition for his involvement in such social service activities.
