Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The first song from the film King, titled Tu Mil Jaaye, has been released. The film features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
Following the release, social media users have noted similarities between visuals in the song and scenes from the duo's first film, Om Shanti Om. Fans have pointed to a banquet scene featuring wine glasses and shots of Deepika standing behind Shah Rukh as reminiscent of their earlier work, with some referring to the pairing as an Om and Shanti reunion.
Additionally, viewers have speculated about the film's plot due to a fire sequence featured in the song. Discussions on social media suggest the possibility of a tragic love story similar to Om Shanti Om, with some users questioning if the plot involves a danger to Deepika’s character that Shah Rukh is unable to prevent.
The song was composed by Sachin-Jigar and performed by Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action-romantic drama King is scheduled for release on December 24.
