Suryaa Andhra Pradesh Desk: Today's Daily Surya Bureau Rajamahendravaram, MLC Thota Trimurtulu, who did not develop Mandapet with even a single rupee of state government funds... State Estimates Committee Chairman, Mandapeta MLA Vegulla Jogeswara Rao has demanded that MLC Tota Trimurtuli, who did not develop Mandapet even with a single rupee when he was in charge of today's daily Surya Bureau Rajamahendravaram, is now asking for votes in the municipal elections. He participated and spoke at the media conference held at the Telugu Desam Party office in Mandapet. He said that many reforms were initiated after he assumed office as the Municipal Chairman in 2000. He said that for the first time in united Andhra Pradesh, the door-to-door garbage collection system has been started in Mandapet. He said that the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who came to power after seeing the development they had made at that time, also gave them an award.

After that, during the reign of Vimala Kumari and the late Chundru Sri Vara Prakash, the development of Mandapet Municipality was started. He said that the 2nd position in South India was achieved during Prakash's tenure. He said that Mandapet has stood at the top position in development only because TDP is in power. But unfortunately, in 2019, if the people give power to YCP, he said that there will be a severe setback in development. MLC Thota Trimurtulu said that they could not undertake development work in the municipality with even a single rupee of state government funds. He questioned how they would ask for votes now if they could not do anything while in power.

Similarly, Ajay Babu, who is contesting as the municipal chairman, and the candidates of the alliance of 36 wards will be shown what development means if people vote on bicycle, glass glass and lotus symbol and win. He said that all the people have seen what kind of development has been achieved in Mandapeta in the past six months. He said that henceforth special attention will be paid to the beautification of the town. Vegullu asked the people to give another chance to TDP.
