The Ministry of Defence officially announced that the bilateral naval exercises between the Indian Navy and the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) were completed on October 29.

The exercises were conducted in two phases. The harbor phase included professional discussions, cross-deck visits, and sessions on strategic planning between the naval personnel of both nations. Additionally, cultural programs and sports competitions were organized to strengthen relations between the military personnel.

During the subsequent sea phase, INS Sahyadri and a South Korean warship conducted joint navigation, helicopter operations, and combined maneuvers. The Ministry of Defence stated that such joint exercises enhance operational coordination and mutual understanding between the two navies. These exercises serve as an example of the Indian Navy's efforts to establish long-term partnerships with friendly foreign navies.
