Suryaa Business Desk: Leading domestic brokerage HDFC Securities Institutional Equities has released its latest review report on 15 key companies across various sectors in light of the ongoing second-quarter financial results for the current fiscal year. The featured list includes companies such as Life Insurance Corporation of India, Apollo Hospitals, Titan Company, Aurobindo Pharma, Ipca Labs, and Vinati Organics. Factoring in company revenue growth, expansion plans, and sector-specific advantages, the brokerage stated that these stocks offer profit potential of up to 73 percent.

Specialty chemicals manufacturer Vinati Organics holds the highest upside potential among all 15 analyzed companies, with the report indicating an upside potential of nearly 72.6 percent. Demand recovery in the chemical sector and the launch of new capacities are expected to drive this growth. Analysts estimated that JK Lakshmi Cement could deliver returns of 43.8 percent, while domestic insurance leader LIC is projected to offer gains of nearly 36 percent. The brokerage explained that steady premium growth and healthy returns from its investment portfolio are boosting the long-term value of LIC.

HDFC Securities maintained a positive rating on healthcare major Apollo Hospitals. The brokerage noted that stable occupancy rates in hospitals, higher average revenue per occupied bed, and lower operational expenses on the Apollo 24/7 digital platform will support steady margins. Additionally, in the pharmaceutical segment, the brokerage raised target prices while maintaining 'Add' ratings for Aurobindo Pharma and Ipca Labs, driven by robust domestic sales and steady product expansion.

On the other hand, HDFC Securities reiterated a 'Sell' rating on The Ramco Cements while retaining its target price of ₹830. Analysts urged caution due to the high debt burden on the company balance sheet and short-term pressure on profit margins. Overall, the report expressed that large-cap and quality mid-cap stocks delivering consistent quarterly performance represent a good opportunity for long-term investors.
