Suryaa News Desk: District Collector Vijaya Krishnan monitored the polling trends of urban local body elections from the Anakapalli Collectorate. The Collector is continuously reviewing the polling situation across Yelamanchili and Narsipatnam municipalities, as well as areas falling under the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) limits within the district.
Collector Vijaya Krishnan inquired about voter turnout percentages and details of the voting process from officials. The Collector instructed officials to take necessary measures to ensure that the elections take place peacefully, freely, and impartially.
Instructions were also issued to continuously monitor the arrangements at polling centers and the performance of staff. Collector Vijaya Krishnan further directed all officials on election duty to work in coordination.
