Suryaa Telangana Desk: Government Whip and Mahabubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy stated that public trust and interest in government hospital deliveries have increased following the distribution of 'Yennam Health Kits.' On Thursday, he distributed these kits, which contain items for newborn care, to women who delivered at the Mahabubnagar Government General Hospital.
The MLA noted that he launched the health kit distribution program using his own funds on November 14 of last year. He stated that the initiative has received a positive response from the constituency, leading to increased utilization of medical services available at the government hospital.
He emphasized that efforts are ongoing to improve basic facilities and provide quality medical services in government hospitals. His stated goal is to ensure that poor and middle-class families receive medical treatment in government hospitals that is comparable to corporate facilities. He added that such programs will continue to build public confidence in government hospitals and provide support to mothers and newborns. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ranga Ajmeera, Hospital Development Committee member Bejjugam Raghavender, and Congress leader Vinod Kumar participated in the event.
