Suryaa Telangana Desk: Kolcharam Sub-Inspector Mohammad Mohinuddin conducted an awareness program regarding cybercrime for the public on the main road of Potamsettypalli in Kolcharam mandal, Medak district.
During the event, the Sub-Inspector advised the public to avoid falling victim to financial fraud and encouraged them to increase their knowledge of cyber security on social media. He recommended that everyone regularly update the software on their mobile phones and implement multi-factor authentication for logins.
Additionally, he advised the use of strong passwords and warned against sharing OTPs, bank details, or personal information with strangers. The Sub-Inspector further cautioned against clicking on suspicious links and urged everyone to remain vigilant regarding cybercrime.
