Suryaa Telangana Desk: Senior Congress leader Sudhini Venkat Ram Reddy, also known as Kondal Reddy, is reportedly considering resigning from his position as a Madgul Single Window Director before taking the oath of office.
The state government released a list of 12 members for the Madgul Single Window committee on Wednesday. Although Kondal Reddy had sought the position of Single Window Chairman, his name appeared on the list as a director. Supporters stated that he intends to resign from the director post due to personal reasons. Reports indicate that he met with Kalwakurthy MLA Kasireddy Narayana Reddy on Thursday to discuss his resignation.
Local discussions suggest that MLA Kasireddy Narayana Reddy influenced the selection process, impacting the local Bhattu and Sudhini factions. Furthermore, some Congress leaders and workers in the mandal have expressed dissatisfaction, alleging that local sarpanches, deputy sarpanches, and senior party members were not consulted regarding the selection of candidates for the director positions. There are concerns among party members that individuals who recently joined Congress from the BRS party were given these nominated posts over long-time workers. Locals suggest that if this situation persists, the Congress party may face difficulties in the upcoming local elections in the Madgul mandal.
