Suryaa Telangana Desk: Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy met with the Minister for Revenue and Information and Public Relations, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, to discuss the development of the Uppal constituency and the improvement of administrative services. During the meeting, the MLA submitted a formal request regarding the modernization of government offices and the construction of housing for the poor.
The MLA informed the Minister that the current Tahsildar offices in Kapra and Uppal are located in dilapidated buildings constructed decades ago. He requested the construction of new buildings equipped with modern facilities and adequate parking to meet the needs of the growing population. Additionally, he noted that the Kapra Sub-Registrar office is currently operating in a rented building with insufficient facilities. He requested the construction of a permanent office building on government land to assist the public.
Regarding housing, the MLA proposed the construction of 'Indiramma Towers' in the Uppal Bhagayath area for poor and middle-class residents. He requested the allocation of government land and the granting of necessary permissions for this project.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy responded positively to these proposals. He assured that he would initiate a site inspection of the Uppal Bhagayath area through the local MRO by tomorrow to assess the Indiramma Towers project. The Minister further stated that he would review the proposals for the office buildings and take appropriate measures regarding funding and land allocation.
