The women and young men of the village have pledged to end the Gudumba epidemic in Mandanalingala Gram Panchayat. Under the direction of the Sarpanch, the women's groups went to the houses of the Gudumba manufacturers along with the village people and went to the houses of the Gudumba manufacturers and issued a warning to the manufacturers. Addressing the people of the village on this occasion, he said that due to the effect of El Niño, the people are having trouble harvesting crops due to the drought, and if the government is thinking of what to do instead, they are trying to fill their pockets by spreading this Gudumba epidemic in the region.

Apart from that, it is alleged that they are destroying the golden future of the youth by adding inferior intoxicants in the preparation of gudumba. He directed the people to eradicate the Gudumba problem and take steps towards development. He said that a resolution has been passed in the Gram Panchayat that the welfare schemes from the government will not be applicable to those who have made and sold Gudumba and a fine of 50 thousand rupees will be imposed on them.
