According to the police, Archana Choudhary Malik works as a senior associate at Randstad at Mindspace and resides at SR Sadguru Residency in Chandranayak Thanda. Bhandari, who works in the same company, has been in a relationship with Vimal for four years.
At around 2.30 am on Sunday morning, Vimal along with his mother attended a program in the parish. Archana makes a video call to him. Vimal was alarmed when he tied a chunni to the ceiling fan in his room and said that he would commit suicide if he did not marry her. After that Vimal called Archana several times but he did not respond and he got worried and reached her residence. However, as the watch was kept from inside the door of the flat, he informed the 112 police. Patrol personnel immediately reached the spot.
When the door was forced open, Archana was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Clues team was immediately summoned and evidence was collected at the scene. Later, the dead body was taken to Osmania General Hospital. The police informed that a case has been registered and investigation is being carried out.
