Suryaa Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expressed dissatisfaction regarding the ongoing discussions surrounding the budget and visual effects of the upcoming film based on the Ramayana. Speaking at the trailer launch event for the film Matrubhumi, directed by Saurabh Pandey, Khan stated that when bringing a great epic to the screen, the focus should be on the ideals of Lord Rama rather than production costs or graphics.

Khan criticized the social media discourse suggesting the film has a budget of thousands of crores. He suggested that audiences should prioritize the emotions between the characters of Rama, Sita, and Ravana, as well as the message of Ramarajya, over the visuals. He described Lord Rama as an inspiration to humanity, highlighting his roles as a son, brother, husband, and warrior who upheld righteousness.

Khan emphasized that it is essential to understand the essence of such sacred epics when adapting them for the screen. He stated that the primary objective should be to convey the greatness of these stories to future generations rather than focusing on commercial or budget calculations. Khan noted that his latest film also reflects similar principles of righteousness.
