Suryaa Sports Desk: The India A squad has undergone changes ahead of the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup. Star batter Rajat Patidar has officially withdrawn from the tournament. Patidar requested the BCCI to exclude him from 50-over format selection to manage his workload while recovering from physical pain and injuries. The selectors have accepted his request and removed him from the squad.
The board announced that Delhi batter Ayush Badoni has been selected as Patidar's replacement. Additionally, Rinku Singh has been appointed as the vice-captain of the team, which will be led by captain Tilak Varma.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, from November 19 to 29. The Indian squad includes players such as Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, and Prabhsimran Singh. Management maintains that the team remains strong despite the change.
