Suryaa Now International Desk: Surya International Bureau, Beijing/New Delhi: India's allegations that China is taking steps to disrupt law and order along the Line of Actual Control (LAC)... SURYA INTERNATIONAL BUREAU, BEIJING/NEW DELHI: The dragon nation has rejected India's allegations that China is taking steps to disrupt peace and order along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified on Monday that the Chinese Army is only carrying out routine patrolling operations to protect the territorial sovereignty and stability of the border areas while adhering to bilateral agreements on the borders.

Suggestion to India to implement agreements: China has asked India to work constructively with them to reduce border tensions and establish a peaceful environment. "We hope that India will also come up with practical measures in the same direction to mutually implement the mutual understandings reached between the two countries and maintain sustainable peace on the borders," said a Chinese foreign ministry official. China's response to the news of Arunachal intrusion: It is noteworthy that China has made this statement in the context of the recent domestic political uproar over the construction of infrastructure and Chinese intrusions in the border areas, especially in the borders of Arunachal Pradesh.

At a time when military and diplomatic level discussions are going on to resolve the border issues, while India reiterates that it will not accept any unilateral changes in the borders, China maintains that its military movements are part of routine patrolling.
