Veteran actor Manoj Baj Pai, who created a huge craze across the country with the popular web series 'The Family Man', is the latest film 'Gajab Raat' in the lead role. Directed by Ritesh Shah, the film was released directly on popular OTT platform Netflix. Produced by Neeraj Pandey, this crime thriller stars Nushrat Bharucha, Divya Dutta, Akshay Oberoi, Shraddha Das in pivotal roles. Movie lovers are currently interested in the extent to which this movie, which came before the audience amid many expectations, has impressed the audience. When it comes to the story of the movie, Manoj Baj Pai who plays the role of Ajay Nirvit will be seen as a corrupt and amoral police officer.

He uses every case only for his personal gain, and one night he gets the case of a young woman who fell from a car with serious injuries. The story takes a turning point as it reveals who the girl is and the political and business forces behind her. The original plot of this film is about how unexpected consequences took place in the life of the police officer who wanted to blackmail the case and who wanted to harm the young woman. Based on the events of one night, this crime thriller is minus the routine of story lines. It is clear that the film follows the old formula of a police officer who makes mistakes and eventually becomes good. But even though the story lacks novelty, some scenes and the acting of the actors try to make the audience sit to some extent.

Analysts are of the opinion that the film, set in the backdrop of limited locations and a hospital, would have had a different outcome if more effort had been made in terms of screenplay. As far as the actors are concerned, Manoj Baj Pai once again gives an excellent performance with his experience as a police officer with shades of grey. While Nushrat Bharucha oozes glamor despite her brief on-screen presence, Divya Dutta, Akshay Oberoi and Shraddha Das do full justice to the roles to the extent of their scope. Overall, this film can be said to be a weekend time pass option for those who love routine crime thrillers. Also Read: Director Venu Udugula responds to trolls on 'Idupu Kaitham' movie song!
