Suryaa Entertainment Desk: In the film industry, big budgets and glamor of star heroes alone do not bring success, small films with strong content... It has been proved once again that big budgets and glamor of star heroes alone do not bring success in the film industry, even small films can create wonders if strong content is present. The film 'Premada Ooralli', which came to the audience without any huge expectations from the Kannada film industry, is currently making sensational collections at the box office. This movie, which was made with a low budget of only two and a half crore rupees, unexpectedly collected more than one hundred crore rupees worldwide and is surprising everyone. It seems that the director and producers faced many financial difficulties during the production phase of this film.
It is reported that difficult situations have arisen where family members have to pledge their jewelery to complete the film. The makers faced serious difficulties due to lack of proper theaters and insufficient budget to carry out huge promotions before the release. The film, which was released in only a few screens on the first day, gradually picked up due to the good word of mouth. As the audience went wild, the number of shows increased exponentially and a tsunami of collections began to emerge. The film earned a profit of around forty to fifty times of the investment, making it one of the highest grossing films in the history of Kannada cinema.
This plot, which is appealing to the common man, also attracted the audiences of other languages, and was translated into Telugu as 'Premane Urilo' and received good reception. As the film is still running successfully in theatres, the film unit has clarified that no agreements have been made regarding OTT streaming as of now. This film is a rare example of how much audience can appreciate even a short film if it has content. Also Read: Ram Charan, Sukumar crazy combo 'RC17' movie launch date fixed.. When?
