Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The makers of the upcoming mythological film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, have issued a formal warning following the unauthorized leak of fight scenes and images from the production. The production team, including producer Namit Malhotra, expressed strong dissatisfaction regarding the circulation of these visuals on social media.

The makers stated that recording scenes on set or in theaters and uploading them online constitutes a serious offense. Citing previous Bombay High Court orders, the team noted that such actions violate the Copyright Act 1957, the Cinematograph Act 1952, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023, and the IT Act 2000. They warned that individuals involved in leaking or sharing this content face potential criminal, civil, and contempt of court proceedings without further notice.

The production team specifically addressed leaked visuals depicting a fight sequence involving demons following the scene where Lakshmana cuts off Surpanakha's nose. The film's legal team is currently coordinating with platforms including Google, Meta, and X to remove the leaked clips. The makers have reiterated their commitment to taking legal action to curb piracy and unauthorized recording. The film is scheduled for release in November 2026.
