In an interview with actress Maheswari, Janhvi stated that Sridevi was initially uncertain about her daughter’s future in cinema.
Janhvi noted that Sridevi was aware of the hard work, dedication, and pressure required to succeed in the industry, which led to her initial reservations. According to Janhvi, Sridevi’s perspective changed after she underwent a nose surgery. Janhvi jokingly remarked that after the procedure, Sridevi observed changes in her face and began to believe that she possessed the potential for acting.
Janhvi mentioned that while Sridevi was initially doubtful, she eventually provided encouragement. Janhvi added that she is currently working to establish herself in the industry by choosing diverse roles across both North and South Indian film projects.
