Suryaa Telangana Desk: The agriculture department has initiated the process of recording crop loss details in the villages of Lingala mandal, following the government's recent declaration of the area as drought-affected. Mandal Agriculture Officer Anil stated that Agriculture Extension Officers (AEOs) are currently conducting field-level inspections of farms to register crop loss data online.
Farmers are required to contact their respective village AEOs to facilitate an inspection of their fields. Officials noted that crop details must be registered in the digital crop booking system, and the crop must be present in the field at the time of inspection. Registration of loss details will be based on these field assessments.
The deadline for completing the registration process is November 9. Officials have urged farmers to contact their AEOs immediately rather than waiting until the final date to ensure their crop loss details are recorded.
