Demands for Comprehensive Inquiry into Ayyavaripalli Land Issue in Nagarkurnool

Suryaa Telangana Desk: A land issue in Ayyavaripalli village, located in the Uppununthala mandal of Nagarkurnool district, has become a subject of widespread discussion. The matter concerns alleged illegal pattadar passbook transfers and record manipulation involving land in survey number 115.

Following the initiation of action against the former Tahsildar, local residents are questioning whether the investigation will be limited to a single official or if all individuals involved in the record changes will be held accountable. Locals are demanding a comprehensive inquiry into all land transactions conducted between 2006 and 2026, including the verification of inheritance rights and documents. Specifically, there are calls to investigate the pattadar transfers made in the names of 11 individuals.

Allegations have emerged regarding a broker system targeting disputed lands within the mandal. Critics claim that intermediaries approach farmers at the Tahsildar office, promising to resolve land issues in exchange for money. There are further allegations that these individuals use the name of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) to gain the trust of farmers. Residents are requesting an investigation into the extent of intermediary involvement in official land matters and whether any officials are linked to these activities.

Similar allegations of farmers being defrauded under the guise of resolving land issues have been reported in other villages, including Eratwanipalli, Tadoor, and Tippapur. Reports suggest that victims claim to have paid large sums of money to intermediaries who failed to resolve their land problems.

The public is urging higher authorities to conduct a transparent investigation into the Ayyavaripalli case and these broader allegations to ensure justice for affected farmers. Clarity on the scope of the investigation and the potential curbing of the broker system is expected to come from the district authorities.
