Suryaa Telangana Desk: Residents near the BC Hostel in Gopinagar are facing difficulties as streetlights in the area remain non-functional, leaving the surroundings in darkness during the night.
Locals allege that individuals are taking advantage of the darkness to engage in anti-social activities, including smoking cigarettes, consuming alcohol, and using ganja near trees and rocky areas. Residents have expressed concern regarding the safety of women and children who frequently travel through the area.
Questioning who would be held responsible in the event of an untoward incident, locals are urging officials to address the issue immediately. The residents are demanding the restoration of streetlights in the vicinity of the Gopinagar BC Hostel and are calling for increased police patrolling at night.
